Bellevue Christian School wins Bellevue Kiwanis Club All Sports Trophy Posted: 15 May 2010 08:17 AM PDT Bellevue Christian School was awarded the Bellevue Kiwanis Club All Sports Trophy on Wednesday, May 12. BCS students were recognized for making a positive difference in their schools among 200 local high school seniors as well as athletic directors, coaches and parents. Athlete representatives included: Max Pressey, baseball; David Downs, basketball; Jon Fouquier, cross country; Erin Petersen, cross country; Harrison Glasy, golf; Sarah Andrews, golf; Chris Pattison, soccer; Stephanie Kato, soccer; Candace Hamilton, softball; Peter Orrestad, track; Allison Hussey, track; Courtney Stabingas, volleyball and Jon Fouquier, wrestling. Six Bellevue high schools including Bellevue Christian, Interlake, Bellevue, Sammamish, Newport and Forest Ridge were vying for the award. Daniel Wruble (basketball) and Eli Alsate (gymnastics, cheer) of Sammamish were recognized and given $1,000 scholarships as well.
